PhD student Liang Wan has started his doctorate training at the Department of History at the University of Exeter in September and is currently conducting research in China. Postdoctoral fellows Lu Chen and Sebastian Fonseca Chaparro will be joining the University of Exeter and the Wellcome Centre for Cultures and Environments of Health in October, 2021, working closely with PIs Edna Suárez-Díaz and Dora Vargha. In the coming months, David Bannister and Sarah Howard will also be starting their postdoctoral fellowships at Birkbeck, University of London with PI Sarah Marks. In 2022, our team in Exeter will also be joined by Andrea Espinoza Carvajal, who is currently a Lecturer in International Relations and Gender Education at King’s College London.
