On behalf of Chris Sandal-Wilson and the University of Exeter’s Centre for Imperial and Global History (CIGH) you are all warmly welcome to the final Centre for Imperial and Global History event of the term, and a real highlight of the year: a chance to learn more about the research the History department’s postgraduate members are doing.
Three postgraduate researchers – Shibani Das, Shreya Gupta, and Liang Wan – will be sharing their ongoing research (we will update this post with the abstracts early next week).
Shibani Das, ‘The Royal Indian Engineering College and the production of Imperial officers’
Shreya Gupta, ‘Collecting Coins in Colonial Bombay: Networks of European and Indian Collectors at the Royal Asiatic Society’
Liang Wan, ‘From Japanese Model to Soviet Ideology: The Transformation and Resilience of Chinese Acupuncture 1933-1958’
This event will take place on Wednesday 14 December from 3.00-4.30pm GMT in Room B218 in Amory at the University of Exeter.
As ever you are welcome to join remotely. To do so, please register using the following link:
